The two workshops will deal with fun grammar activities. Teachers will be able to learn and plan activities to develop learners’ grammatical and punctuation skills which can be applied at different levels. The workshop will also build learners’ knowledge base, to meet learning targets using grammar in context.
Workshop Facilitator
Fariha Haq is working as an English Curriculum Director and teacher trainer at various branches of Lahore Grammar School.
She has obtained a postgraduate degree in Education from the University of Newcastle, U.K and gained QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in 2000.
Fariha Haq has eleven years experience of teaching English in the U.K.
She has been the Head of the English Department at Boston Grammar School for Boys, England and trainer for Key Stage 3. Whilst there, she developed the schemes of work at Key Stage 3 and also trained the Junior Staff.
She has worked as an examiner for GCSE and A level for Cambridge and the head examiner for DPSI (Diploma Public Service Interpreting), England.
She has presented at several international teaching Conferences and has done workshops for renowned institutions. |
