Study SkillsConcluded on Saturday the 27th of August, 2011

The academic session for the month of August will be conducted by Ms. Huma Rahat on Study Skills. Study Skills are the skills that build confidence, develop efficiency and enable students to be proactive, make good decisions and develop critical thinking. In short these are skills which make students independent learners.
This workshop is going to focus on the different skills that students use to facilitate their learning. To be aware of these skills is an integral part of a good teacher’s teaching. This workshop will provide hands-on learning for teachers and will offer them a lot of ideas to take back to their classrooms. It will help English Language teachers to bring variety to their lessons by catering to the needs of students with different styles of learning.

The Presenter

Ms. Huma Rahat currently works as a coordinator in the English Access Micro Scholarship Program at iEARN Pakistan. She was a resource person at the Excel Camp organized by USAID and Edlinks in Baluchistan. Huma Rahat is a highly experienced English Language instructor. She has done her M.B.A on Educational Leadership from P.A.F Kiet. She has done C.OT.E from the University of Cambridge. She has attended many International conferences and workshops on E.L.T.
