In-Service Certificate in English Language Teaching (ICELT)Starting on Wednesday the 1st of June, 2011

ICELT has been upgraded from COTE by the Cambridge University, U.K. It is based upon keeping the modern research in teaching and learning into practice. This certification course goes beyond ELT, it focuses on issues such as modern trends in teaching and learning, specially language skills and modern grammar, interactive teaching procedures, teacher / learner language and learner needs.

ICELT places great focus on the teachers’ awareness of learning development and motivation. Teachers improve their own level of proficiency by attending the 150 hour intensive course followed by practical tasks, assignments and classroom observations. These are the reasons why ICELT has become the programme of choice in seventy centers around the world. In this region, Pakistan is the only country offering this prestigous international programme which is recognized all the world over.
